Seeking Employment

[Rick Morrey]

Hello my name is Rick Morrey(28) and i am seeking employment as i recently have obtained certificates in Tree Climb and Aerial Recue, Chainsaw Maintenance and Felling of Small Trees. I will be taking the use of a chainsaw in the tree as soon as a date becomes available. I also have my own PPE,Chainsaw and Climbing Equipment which along with the courses i have invested in myself. My training took place at Parkside Side Training Centre at Heaton Park (Manchester) I am keen to begin my career as a tree surgeon at any level. I am currently in full time work in a dead end job as a driver at Manchester Airport and i would be gratefull of any Job oppertunities out there.

I'm not able to offer anything but what other skills do you have that might be of use to an employer. driving licence held etc. I started in a similar situation to you.

Have you tried any of the local companies?

 

There are a few around the Stockport/ Manchester area.

 

Also keep an eye on Arbjobs.com, Horticulture Week, Job Centre ect.

 

Its a tough time to be starting out, if you find a local authority job snap it up!
