4th Jan, I have several hawthorn in a young hedge with emerging leaves and a couple more almost in full leaf. Just a result of the mild weather or some kind of stress response? I haven't seen it this early before.

full leaf bleedin hell ,, when i was in the midst of the North Yorks national park just prior to xmas i saw an acer pseudo in bud but not leaf

 

mad times,, we have bulb poppin up in the front driveway beds especially when the sloe's are still on the blackthorns crazy
