The company:

 

Landscape Planning Ltd is a consultancy provider of arboricultural services within the UK, specialising in the provision of consultancy services within planning, insurance, land and asset management, aviation and utility.

 

The job:

 

Due to the nature of our business, the role will principally involve issues associated with utility services; but it will also encompass all aspects of arboriculture.

 

Specifically the successful applicant will have the following key responsibilities:

 

•Undertaking utility line surveys, recommending necessary tree works.

•Completing line audits of completed tree works.

•Providing support to Group businesses in the form of vegetation and large scale tree surveys.

The person:

 

The successful candidate will:

 

•Be UA1, UA2.1 and UA5 qualified.

•Demonstrate previous relevant experience in utility surveys and audit.

•Have excellent tree and plant ID and knowledge.

•Be a strong communicator with excellent customer service skills.

•Be a self-starter, with good time management, and the ability to act autonomously, using initiative.

•Adhere to and understand the importance of health & safety and risk assessment.

•Have a full UK driving licence, and a willingness to travel.

Ideally the candidate will also:

 

•Have emergency first aid qualification, and NRSWA ticket.

•Have previous experience using digital data capture hardware such as PDAs and tablet computers.

•have a high standard of arboricultural skills and experience.

Salary & benefits:

 

£20,000 - £25,000 pa (dependent on skills, experience and qualifications) + car + benefits package
