All you srt climbers

Due to the fact that single rope work positioning is still not an approved method in arb,i need to sign an insurance disclaimer to use it at work.

I was wondering how everyone else using it gets on? Are you mostly self employed so call the shots as to what methods you use? Anyone have any trouble with insurance etc?

I don't really fancy signing off from the company's insurance. I have been offered personal insurance by the salesmen at various arb shows to cover me srt, though I suspect they may back out on the event of a claim as it may be argued I'm not using approved methods.

As there seem to be so many arbs using srt for work now, isn't it about time afag/hse/loler re classify it?
