Hi SiW

Mistakes like this easily happen.

You need to check the brake hubs are ok and have not got blue heat marks.

You need to check that the brake shoes are not worn out and replace them if required, at the same time check the bearings for correct tightness and grease content.

Check brake cables are operative and slide in the housings.

If you are not sure of what to do I would suggest you take it to a dealer or a local repair agent to have the braking system checked out.

Please ensure hat the systaem is safe to use before you use the machine.

Hi SiW

The hub nut can be purchased from any reputable local caravan supplier or from the internet,

We use a local company for this type of spare and they are very helpful.

the tel no. is 01206 795949 and they could post it to you.

The nut will need to be torqued up to 290Nm + / - 10Nm to ensure safe replacement but if you are not certain we would advise taking it to your local TW dealer who can do this for you .

Not certain who you have in your local area but if you look in Yellow Pages you may be able to find a local source.
