As it stands, it looks like UK's appeal to retain Asulam for bracken control has been refused by other EU nations.

Sale of asulam products (eg Asulox) will stop December this year, and the last spraying season will be summer 2012. As companies tend to manufacture only a certain amount, knowing that the spraying season comes to an end around August, there may be very little stock available now for anyone wanting to get some in to spray next year.
