Notifications of intent in Con area

I know this has been covered in here before somewhere, but am I still able to supply a Notification of Intent in writing, or has it got to go thru 1APP?

It would seem that notification in writing is fine. As per the normal requirements. The regs come into effect on wednesday but just for TPOs (all because of the new fast-track appeals process), but the existing CA legislation remains unchanged.

cheers Tony, now I'll just have to see if the LPA accept it, or make it go thru that stooooopid 1APP, then get it rejected time after time cos I havent marked the TPO tree that isnt there in the 1st place.

Ah but if its a Section 211 notification, and you have notified them in writing, wait 6 weeks and do the work unless they make a TPO. 1app doesn't apply.

Which LPA is it? One near me?

sorry lost on me, I dont normally have a problem with the TO, but this 1APP beggars belief.

Yeah been told to send in a 1app for a conservation area (after sending in old form) or get fined £25. Looking at the form I think I'd rather pay the fine.
