No problem Dave, i dont really have alot of knowledge on fungus. The tree has a main leader for the first 20ft then splits into two, and its the second part of the tree that has it, which i've not climbed. Its had work done before where there was a big split and was over hanging the road which hadt to be removed for obvious reasons. I shall have a closer look tommorrow and take some photos.
