had fun the other month working with contractors (daisy and brian and richard c my work mate)felling these it was 4 rows along a road 120 in all they were planted as a boundry 22 years ago with ash cherry lime and oak it was fun getting them down with out crushing the other trees i felled a row but mainly spent the time putting the winch cable up snedding cross cutting anf forwarding the wood to road side and loading trailers,aspen also came to take the tops of 3 that couldnt be felled in 1 near a busy junction.daisy and brian are both in there 60s and the best cutters i have ever known they dont mess about will get richard c to post his pics of daisys county in action:thumbup1:

cheers. didnt load the first trailer of chipwood up full until the lorry was hitched up so could top it up. after that we had to dome the tops over the pins to get the weight with the other loads .the logs in the stack were cut at 8ft2" anything 12" and over and to be collected by a lorry with a crane
