What has being "ex-military" got to do with it? Surely they do not complain about "ex-government" property like LandRovers, Police cars, Ambulances etc. What reason do they give?

Our "ex-mil" MJ is insured as Agri with the NFU. At one time, after the war, many farmers used various ex-mil gear to convert to farm/forestry work, it really is nothing new.

it,s because military stuff tends to be special build specs, so most insurance companys will insure for private use but not business use, i,l give nfu a try but in the past i,ve found them pretty useless.
