Fraud reminder

Like a lot now I have started to take using my debit card for granted.

Went to pay a bill the other day and it was declined :blushing:

Bad enough being declined but even worse I knew it was no where near its limit. To cut the story short someone somehow had funded their on line gambling habit to a considerable degree (well over four figures).

Luckily the bank had seen the transactions as 'abnormal' and locked down the account. Its been nearly a week now and the account is just about back to normal - its a pita having to go into the bank in person just to get some money for fuel!

The bank have been spot on etc. but its just a reminder to keep track of things and keep your details safe. The bank don't know how the details where taken because there are so many ways it can be done now apparently
