Consultant didnt id this, felled the tree inquestion, interested to know what it is.

The host was a mature beech, not the specimen in orange in the first pic.

I assumed it was, but when Dave said the consultant hadnt id'd it, I thought maybe I had missed something, especially since I usually assume its ganoderma as its the only one I know!
