training people to climb

hi all am looking into trying my hand at training people to climb. I love my job. But have been up and down trees for the last 11 years and I feel like I need a new challenge. Any one know any courses or people I can contact for more information. Thanks all

Have you thought of starting some kind of recreational tree climbing business? It's something I'm going to look into in time (I'm not even fully trained myself yet). There seem to be one or two places popping up (try googling) and I think there's probably a bit of money to be had doing it.

yep looked at that route and yes very expencive.

I'm going down the LANTRA route at the mo mate. Its a bit of longhaul, expensive and time consuming. The good news is, you can now get your foot in the door as a CS38 assessor (you used to have to do crosscut + maintain and felling first).
