I have set up as a forestry contractor in Shrewsbury, Shropshire. I have my felling ticket and as slowly gaining experience and confidence. I am doing the odd day for forestry firm in Ludlow but could really do with more work. I have my own 4x4 (Discovery 2), trailer (8x5 Ifor Williams) and chainsaw (ms261).

I have worked with tree surgeons as a groundie on and off for six years now. I have used chainsaws all that time but only took my felling ticket earlier this year.

Whereas with my own company I want to do forestry contracting, I would be greatful for any opportunities in forestry or tree surgery.
