Beechwood demo at conf

I was reading some info at the show about the AA amenity conference this september, and then dropped in on a conversation later that day, with regards to one of the new aspects this year at the conf.

 

Simon of beechwood trees 'bbb' will be putting on a demo of arb on the sunday at the conf,

 

From what I could workout from the info I read, people can pay to go to just certain days of the conf, and this is one day that I will certainly be trying to get to, im not sure as to what stage the planning is of the event, and the particulars, but im sure that Simon will keep us all up to date on the developments, and Paul will inform us on how we get on it, sounded like a good day was being planned. This year is the 45th National Amenity Arboriculture Conference and is being held at the University of Warwick on 18th-20th September 2011.

Amenity Conference - Arboricultural Association

 

On the Sunday (18th) we will be undertaking a techincal demonstration working with The Absolute Arb Company. We will be giving demonstrations on arboricultural operations such as Road Traffic Management, Rigging, PUWER/LOLER, BS3998 - Pruning Standards etc.

 

The aim of the demonstration will be to provide information on legal requirements/legislation, training, PPE etc. that should be in place when undertaking the particular operation, rather than solely completing a demonstration which we know a lot of people already see and do on a daily basis as part of there job.
