Dirty Rotten Poplar

Found this from November last year. Was called out to see this Hybrid Pop and needless to say wasn't overly impressed with the condition of the thing. The whole trunk was moving and you could clearly see the base of the trunk moving in relation to the ground. Came back the next day half expecting it to have felled itself. The only saving grace was the wind direction that night was against the side of the tree where it was still attached to the root plate. Went up on ladders which were moving up and down the trunk and basically felled out as much as I could from within the main branch unions.

Felling cut was pulled over with a rope and the van. Had to fell at about 4 feet in height to find solid wood.
