saw strop failure

Famous last words, but I've never had a webbing strop break and I do a mix of throwing the saw up and catching the strop to lower the saw:001_smile:, chucking the saw up and missing the strop so the saw just falls :biggrin:and also,(when the branch moves a bit quicker than planned), chucking the saw to grab the branch before it heads towards the greenhouse:lol:.

A first for me today after twenty years of spoiling trees, i dropped my saw onto my strop and when i went to pick it up again the saw had pinballed (target audience:001_tt2:) to the base of the tree leaving me with a saw strop that had come apart at the stitching. has any one else had this problem? confused1:

yes my boss did the same thing and the saw almost hit the groundie,, it was an almost brand new strop, was a blck one with red sticthig
