Hi chaps, i have a contract where i have aprox 60 trees mainly ash and oak 45ish ft high) ranging from 10" to 3ft diameter at the base. (the average would be 18") i will be felling them and i can get them down on the ground no probs. i plan to log the tops myself and sell the stuff over 8" roadside. my question is how do i know what its worth. ie am i selling decent stuff as firewood when actually it could be more valuable.

whats the going rate for roadside at the mo?

cheers for any pointers

Ed
