Jeremy, unfortunately you were right. all 3 bores are damaged, showing abrasion marks. engine can be repaired but that will cost a fortune. also, these daihatsu diesel engines seems to be produced for the northamerican market only in coop with b&s and are not sold any more....maybe adapting a yanmar 3cyl?
