Supporting a local community (and managing a woodland at the same time)

I've recently got involved with a project to create a network of trails and jumps etc for the local kids to ride their bikes on in the same woods we used to ride in when we were younger. We've recently applied to Co-op revolutions for some funding and need to get the most number of votes in their grouping in order tio secure the funding.

Things have snowballed rather rapidly and the kids have been really great little labourers (it was great having an army of brash draggers all now wanting to pick up saws when they leave school!) all we need is some money to buy the bits we can't build ourselves.

Have a look on the link below and if you think it's worthwhile - bung a vote in

you can follow progress on facebook too apparently....... :blushing:

If you're just starting out and you need business, equipment, tech or training support you're in the right place.  If you've done it, made it, got a van load of oily t-shirts and have decided to give something back by sharing your knowledge or wisdom,  then you're welcome too.
If you would like to contribute to making this industry more effective and safe then welcome.
Just like a living tree, it'll always be a work in progress.
Please have a look around, sign up, share and contribute the best you have.
