where to advertise a job vacancy?

I need a skilled landscaper that can do most things unsupervised and to a very high standard. am i asking too much? LOL. I dont seem to get the right standard of applicant from local papers, where do you advertise?

Hi Ed, i find gumtree very useful for advertising vacancies, they give you 5 free ads per year. But even if you say "Experienced landscaper required" you will always get loads of people with absolutley no experience applying anyway. I had an ad recently asking for a CV with references, got about 15 replies but only 2 sent me a CV!
