hi guys climbing on a vt atm with a hitch climber. freind told me bout this icicle hitch today was wandering if you guys have exp using the hitch and wats is it like? also dont know how to tie it so if you could post a vid or pics that would be great thanks:001_tt2:

I tried it for a while a few years ago, for me it was too grippy, its called an icicle because it can grip on one, or a tapered spar. Its a cool hitch, and as a conventional hitch to use on a long cord with no pulley I'd certainly rate it higher than a prussic or blakes. with a pulley or HC ther are several better alternatives.:001_smile:
