hi i hire my processor out with my self operating it i charge £250.00 a day + all fuel cost to travel to you and back and fuel for the machine if you have no labourer for me to pass me the timber i can supply labour for £50.00 extra a day .also u would have to pay for are b&b if we are with you for more than one day .we can do around 15 tonne of sofwood lengths up to 10inch diammeter and up to 10 foot long a day call me on 07875925857 ill be available from first week in march onwards regards

That sounds like a pretty good way of doing it. I'm just starting out in firewood production so it saves me some start-up costs.

 

I'm planning on ordering 28 tonn of spruce and larch, some ventilated bulk sacks, get a fork lift and we're ready to go.

 

So we'd be looking at a couple of days to sort the 28 tonn........i'm assuming it can be dispensed straight into the cubic metre ventilated bulk sacks?

 

Can i give you a call tomorrow at some point? Where abouts are you located?

We offer for hire a Binderberger 520 firewood processor with operator, the machine can process approx 25-30 tonne a day.

Processor Hire - £450 per day plus VAT (diesel and transport at extra cost)

 

Landguard are based in North Yorkshire and travel Nationally.
