EN397 Work at Height helmets vs EN12492 Climbing Helmets

Can anyone advise on EN codes?

I am trying to figure out which EN is best!

As far as I can tell (via googling) a helmet that is certified as EN397 Work At Height is the better helmet to use for climbing/rigging, head protection, Y/N?

If you look at the AFAG doc below, it is recomended that you use EN12492 and most of us don't stock EN397 anymore for that reason.

If you going to a college then most of them won't ley you climb in a EN397 anyway.

Can you explain why it only mentions EN12492?

Is it the chinstrap design alone?

Petzl Vertex VENT Arborist Climbing Helmet and Petzl Vertex BEST Climbing Helmet for example state they are certified to both codes, does a helmet with just the EN12492 rate better than those? And,

What about a helmet that states EN397 but has the linesman Y-type chinstrap and called a Work at Height helmet? These helmets are generally more expensive than those helmets that just state they are EN12492 Climbing Helmets.

What's the reasoning behind this?

As far as I know the EN12492 also has side impact protection as well as the correct chin strap.

The EN397 didn't have the correct strap and no side impact protection.
