I've enjoyed myself this week.

Despite getting soaked on Friday, I have really enjoyed myself at work this week.

I have taken down a hazard beam limb on a horse chestnut in a park, dismantled a large beech and felled another, remedially pruned a large copper beech that lost a major limb, dismantled a rotten walnut, dismantled three sycamores and crown reduced another and an ash, and a few other bits and bobs of dead wood and crown lifting etc.

Run of the mill week for a tree surgeon, eh?

The reason I've enjoyed it so much is that I've done all the climbing to cover for my main man who is on holiday.

I've not climbed a tree since last August!

Usually I'm on the deck doing the muddy bit, the large fells and mewp dismantles or I'm desk bound.

Its been a breath of fresh air to be up the trees again!

And I'm feeling much the better for it.:001_smile:
