Hi, i am near a town called selby but i am willing to travel. I am doing a bit of work in scarborough at the moment for sts tree surgery, it takes me about an hour to get there. An hours travel time is probs my max distance. Thanks

Have you tried Mark Bell at Hemingborough? Never worked for him but know he is just up the road from you!! I am a Howden lad origionally.... just up the road from ya!! You do ya course at Askham Bryan at York mate?? Bartletts at York wanted a climber last i heard too!! Goodl uck with finding work mate.

i started of with mark bell i worked for him for 3 years, hes got a few lads working for him at the moment so he hasnt got any work going.yes i did my nvq at askham bryan, did you? where are you working at the moment then? and kev, colin said it was a good little machine, hes got a 18inch morebark hand fed wood chipper for sale, its a monster.

I did my CS30, 31, 38 and 39 at Askham Bryan! Been in Sweden since June last year! Pretty sweet out here! But snowy and cold! Trying to climb round a tree in minus twenty is challenging to say the least... spend more time defrosting your prussuck knot with the chainsaw exhaust then ya do cutting branches!! :-) But.. good experience mate! Good luck finding work! If i hear of anyone needing a climber near you i will give you a shout!
