Question for Admin

Has there been a surge in registrations since the start of the year? 99% of which are spammers.

 

Has tapatalk been turned on/downloaded? Did registrations surge at this point?

 

Im Admin on another forum and we are getting hit hard, registrations going from 1/day to over 60/day

no more than usual. generally get over 100 a day and growing. i ban all the email addresses as they come in...by that i mean the extensions. my ban list is growing. gmail is the worst culprit so make sure you ban that one if you havent already!

We just accept or delete a new user and can choose whether to notify them if deleted.

Gmail was the main problem, but thats minor now, the new lot are using everything and anything!!

We just delete everyone now, and have a sticky saying just that. Unless a current member proposes the new member, they're not coming in!!!

 

Were just a county Subaru club, so dont expect a high number of new members each month.
