It's a funny old place JTS haha SI is a good friend of mine worked with him for a few year went to college with him etc. Not spoke in a bit like. Would you be the bloke I met at his house? before I set up he asked me to do some climbing for his mate when he was injured but nowt came of it.

No mate I worked with him down country and went to college with him. I've worked away

for 9 year then moved back to the north east.

done the last 10 year away myself. Been back to north a few years but still find i have to work away through the week to pay the bills. Done some work on Nissan for Mcalpine for Marley n they said soon as the coalition came to power 100s millions of work was scrapped. Such as new metro link, would of been alot of work on there...

It's bad isn't it but you will see lads from down country working up here I don't get it, were ticking over nicely for now see how long it lasts if we get stuck I have contacts I used to work for who will give us graft. If I dint work for myself I think I'd go abroad.

Yeah. spent a fair bit time abroad already but since i got married thats stopped!!! If i was single i would be off[again]. Still have lads in the woods i know and work aint bad at the min as long as your willing to travel, especially on utilities, My mates who work power lines have to head up to scotland or the south and most of the bigger rail works are down south too.

Aye I'm recently married and had twins which have just recovered from meningitis so working away is a big no no at the minute. Were booked up until at least the end of the month but wel see after that, was thinking about utility work for a back up I know some lads that could give me that work when we needed it but I'm gonna do my best to stay at home for now.

well good luck with that. I will have a bambino bouncing about in a few weeks so will have to be organising work a bit closer to home to suit the family..
