The minimum age is 16 to take the test, but for training (if you need it), you might find that some training centres won't take you - That's just because at 16 they might have to provide 1:1 tuition when using a saw. But ring around to find out.

Just because you can take it at 16 doesn’t mean that you can work unsupervised until you are 18?

 

As an employer there is a duty of care!
