Pest & Disease of trees book

I think I paid £70.00 for my copy of Tree diseases and disorders and bought from tree source, I was unaware of any increase in value but would not be at all suprised, it is a VERY good read. I would say Heinz Butin trys to get a subtle message across throughout, but I am still reading it a bit at a time, not fully yet.

 

The book by sinclair and Lyons is also rather good, very well illustrated with phantastic photos, but also some very in depth information on many fungi. Info that goes a lot ffurther than most of the disease books ive read so far, a bit like the heinz volume.

 

These two books together, they are more than books of reference, read well, commit to knowing them and they will help you develop an appreciation and deep understanding of "disorder"

 

The work conducted by rayner and Boddy in the 80s is also worth tracking down, but expensive at times!
