c30/31 funding

Hi,

I want to do my c30/31 and I'm looking for a way to get funding for it. I'm 18 years old and I live in Oxfordshire. Haven't really started looking yet, I thought you guys might be able to save me some time

I'm basically looking for the place that will give me the most cash towards it, as I'm really skint at the moment.

ok, if you really want to get in to arb i would go down the full time college route, may be a NC or ND arb course. This will give you a very good grounding in arb plus all the basic NPTC CS:UNITS. i know the college will fund you if its your first level 2 or 3 quilification. i know the dole put people through courses, maybe you have to be a job seeker for some time. hope this is of some help:biggrin:

i think they will only help if you are long term unemployed!

they then get funding through react ?

Yep got to be on dole longer than 6 months and they are getting very picky about how many they will fund.

seeing as the lad is only 18 i think the best way to do his tickets is go on a full time course

Ahh, well I've never signed on before and can't really wait half a year for the funding.

 

I hadn't considered college courses before, but I looked at an ad on here for a ten week one in Suffolk and it looks like a pretty good idea to me. Now to find one close to me!

 

Anyone know of any good colleges or anything around Oxfordshire/Northamptonshire? I'm in Banbury but don't mind travelling.
