Mine is coming soon and I'm pretty excited. I've just got one little question about the flat top model of the vision 500; if the flue comes out from the top can you still use the hotplate for kettle and such?

Yes works well like that and enough room for a kettle on one side and a pan of stew. Good for wintertime powercuts.

 

Remember when doing the initial fire to open the windows of the room and leave the house as fumes are dangerous!! (See instructions) Paint will be damp and will mark on the burn.

i got a hunter, and had the room full of smoke and a smell for 2 days, after that all was fine
