yer i wouldnt want to start stright on cutting even if i could, i want to steer away from the climbing if possible, i enjoy the feelling and logging more, but id want to start at the bottom n work my way up regardless of my skills, i want to earn ther right to be a faller by showing hard work n toughness not just starting stright away bassed on years of expirence.

why not look to do some serious logging in this country 1st, there's people north of the border doing some big tree work, plus its not too far from home if you find its not for you. It would also build up your skllls base and make you more employable in the States in a few years time.

If you're just starting out and you need business, equipment, tech or training support you're in the right place.  If you've done it, made it, got a van load of oily t-shirts and have decided to give something back by sharing your knowledge or wisdom,  then you're welcome too.
If you would like to contribute to making this industry more effective and safe then welcome.
Just like a living tree, it'll always be a work in progress.
Please have a look around, sign up, share and contribute the best you have.
