HI ALL JUST come back from FRANCE NORAMANDIE AND they store and dry there log out in the yard NOT in a BARN WILL IT WORK in the UK WITH ALL THE RAIN WE HAD 50MM LAST NIGHT jon in sunny somerset :thumbup:

Yep, I've got a yard that I hardly ever use. Theres a fair few trunks and rings there. I was quite surprised at the moisture readings I got when I did some cutting and splitting. The actual seasoning seems to happen on the inside despite the weather outside. Then it just takes a little while to dry out properly before sale.

hi all i have no pics of wood storeing the owner of the wood did not like any pics taken and the wood is cut in 1mt lenghts and then crossed stacked to 2mt high WE it work in the uk NOT IN SOMERSET on sunday we had 50mm of rain all the best jon SOMERSET :thumbup:
