i wouldnt reccomend one, we used one once and it was absolute rubbish. spent longer trying to get the stuff in the machine than cutting. not sure who else on here has one though. maybe someone with a wee chipper on here may be able to help you out.

I'd take it through the garage and clean up afterwards just makes sure you cut it small enough to carry through. Did a little one through a house this morning took about an hour, just laid some decorators cloths down and folded them up afterwards.

Sorry rushing when I wrote the original post, it's a garage that goes to a passage which is like a utility room, then through the back door. But there's shelves and thelike lining the passage, with carpet too, and can just see the dead leaves goin everywhere, would rather chip in the back then barrow or wheelie bin it through. Anyone got one of these jobeau's to lendme !!!

We did a big horse chestnut recently with one of the little gravity fed timberwolf chippers. Dragging the volumes of stuff through the house would have meant a complete redec. Little chippers are ok if you process the stuff into straight lines and don't expect too much in the way of volume output. The guys call our machine Francine. I.e. It wants to be a man, Frank, but hasn't the bo***cks.:lol::lol:

Hi Mike, for this small job by passing narrow passage, i would recommend you GTS900 which will be excellent for the job, it's very light, impressive capacity and super maneuverable, you can take a look at the following link:[ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HrJXfh8oStQ]YouTube - GTM Professional GTS 900[/ame]

if you are still interested, let me know.
