Anyone with a pass? Any tips very welcome - guess I need to keep it clear and coherent - link inspection report to condition and priority keys, and an honest assessment based on a careful look root to tips?...

I went completely OTT. I wrote down everything I could think of, no matter how insignificant.

I didn't think the assessment was very realistic, but you've got to do what they want to get the ticket.

So, do what they tell you - start at the top and work down (or vice versa) and pick up on every single anomoly or defect. Then pretend money is no object to the theoretical client and also that every tree is sacred, and you should do okay.:001_smile:

Wow! Quick work, mate... one of the marker's comments last fail was not to suggest additional expensive investigations if you're not quite sure why they might be necessary! It was then not my normal field of operations; recent experience gives me a little more confidence. Stoneleigh, Weds...

You gotta not miss any biggies on the inspection. Dont waffle, only include whats relevant (ie-those observations giving rise to recommendations) and keep it real.

You could try using a scoring system with bullet point headers. re: Structural . Physiological. Age class. Remember to annotate the scale on the sheet. You need only do this once at the bottom as it applies to all inspections but the examiner needs to understand what you intend by each value. Quick & simple. Food for thought eh?
