Woken with a bang!

Don't know who else got it this morning, the thunder storm that is, 4:20 and all hell broke loose, lightning right over head, car alarms, house alarm, screaming kids and rain like a waterfall, awsome!! Spent half an hour with head out of window watching it all happen. I love this type of weather.

We had a sudden heavy shower here at about 04.30 this morning but sadly no thunder. Like you, I love extreme weather (reminds us how insignificant we are compared to nature)!

 

Nice to get that fresh wet smell after all this hot dry weather.

Yeah we had that where i live at 2.30 it was amazing!! House alarms and car alarms going off like you said, forked lightning and everything, it was quality

Just heard that it struck an O2 mast about 150 yards away and has left AC price without any phones, internet etc so if you are trying to get hold of his place you may be struggling for the next day or so, any of you that know him can guess the expletives that are coming out of that yard at the moment. The down side to this type of extreme weather!
