Just a quick comment on the thred title? IPAF is a certificate you get for training in a platform, diff types VMP26 etc. C.S.C.S is a card you need to work on any building site (a safety test)? C.P.C.S (construction plant competence scheme) is for types of plant i.e hiabs. So if the question that you've asked the answer would be:laugh1:

 

1) Ipaf or other type body for mewps.

2) CSCS card if you want to work on a building site.

3) CPCS card if there is one for mewps but then your ipaf is probably as good anyway.

hmmm the NPTC one may well last a lift time but you can ONLY use it for tree work......

 

i want it for tree work but using it for building work would be nice to..

 

but even if you have the NPTC OR IPAF you cant work on meny building site with then even doing tree work on the sites..
