I was talking to a very helpful guy at the Arb show fromm the tree climbers forum about getting into Srt!! was wondering if anyone has any pitchures/videos on a basic rig i could use to experiment with. many thanks:001_smile:

this setup is very similar to the ones matt and chris use, infact matt was a major influence in the refineing of my srt setup, as mine looked like something from scrap heap challenge before his input

You could also use a hitch instead of the middle ascender saving money and also making it dead easy to change over to DRT if you need to.

the only difference is that he is using a microcender rather than a petzl ascension.

awesome john thanku!! i know you have been asked this question before when you posted oringinal but the two biners coming of the croll do they attach to the attachment points on the leg loops on the TM? and what is the bunjee cord for? many thanks charlie.

the bungee cord keeps the croll upright and close to your chest

 

the 2 biners connect either side of the bridge
