Etesia Pro 51 k engine / carb problems

We havent had chance to attempt to repair the mower yet as we have had another machine break down which is taking priority at the minute.

 

But what your saying sounds like I imagined it would work, only I think the butterfly is not opening more under load ?

 

I spoke to an etesia dealer the other day and he reckons it could be the clutck slipping and this is causing the loss of power ?

 

I'm not convinced he's right though ?
