My honda gx670 24hp engine cut out the other day did lots of fault finding cleaned tank hoses fuel filter cleaned carb fuel pump etc.

In the end the culprit was a broken wire on the ignition barrel but soldered back on and the no stress box red light does not stay on when switched to the on position i either have to turn it half way towards starting or in the on postion push it in and it comes on.

the engine wont run in the on position as the fuel cut of solenoid wont work.

How much is a new key starter barrel for the honda engine :confused1:

Hi Tree Surgeon Essex

Timberwolf are not in the position to quote and supply engine parts, it is quicker to go direct to the Honda Engine Agent for spares.

The nearest one to you is Universal Engine Power Ltd based at Great Dunmow in Essex. The spares tel no. is 0844 2092511 contact Neil Peacock or 0844 2092510 contact Glen Gordon. These 2 gents are very helpful.

Hope that this gets you sorted out.

regards
