If you used a left and right normal pantin with DRT you would have to keep taking one off the rope and putting it back on above the other and so on. Would work well for secured footlocking on a double rope though.

 

The modification can be to make one pantin have a long strap to your foot rather than a small foot strap. Then one is always above the other on the rope. But if you dont want to cut up a pantin you could just use a croll if you have one. Also if you attach some elastic cord to the top of the croll and tie it to your krab and a footloop on the bottom when you lift your foot it will self advance.
