It was a very good conference, one of the main points was how to control biological risk between different sites. How many of us remember to clean blades between sites and who if anyone cleans their boots or the wheels of their vehicles before going of to the next site.

 

Also for those who have not heard Phytophthora ramorum (sudden oak death) was found in a stand of larch in the south west in 2009.
