my mum goes on animal rescue forums as shes helps with dog rescue and came across this so i thought id post it. the dog has since been found, and is home with his owner which is really good news :001_smile:. but landy is still missing, it was stolen yesterday about 6 in the evening. the posts don't all quite make sense as it's posts from various forums all copied and pasted.

Registration R1 SWS, white Landrover with Ashdown Forest written on it.

Louise Amos, who is the shepherdess at Ashdown Forest, has had her Landrover and black and white sheepdog BEN, aged 12yrs, stolen 2hrs ago from the Ashdown Forest while her assistant was locking the gate. Someone ran up and jumped in then drove away. White landrover and Ifor Williams sheep trailer.

The stolen landrover was spotted in Lingfield today at 2.30in the afternoon. BBC surrey and sussex are going to do a piece about it so hopefull that should make people more aware.

Have a bit more information from the neighbour - 2 men in burgundy car one got out ran up driveway jumped in Landy, they went down the road to Forest Row and people sat in pub saw them driving like maniacs up A22 towards East Grinstead. Police thought there was a traveller camp in Edenbridge and one in Crawley the most likely suspects.
