Availability of Wooden Logs

Hello! Sorry if this is the wrong place to ask but new to owning a wood burner in the house I moved into and have a young baby so just looking for advice on how best to heat the home  

Someone told me that on this site you can get intouch with local businesses and see if they have logs to give away or get rid of? 
In the BD4 in Tong area just out of drig
