NEW FSI & SCHMIDT HYDRAULIC STUMP CUTTERS - Stump Grinders for sale

help help would be usefull cheers

Looked at this grinder recently but not had time to find out more info.

I'm no expert but I have been down this road before. As far as I was led to believe, the smaller diggers range, 1.5 to 3 tonne didn't have the hydraulic flow capacity to run anything worth while to do job. I managed to source grinder head with own engine to fit 2.7 tonne digger. Looked the business but unfortunately design was bad and kept pulling the grinder to wards the stump to aggressively and stalling the engine.

Company said they were going to re design, but after to many attempts to get response I gave up. If SCHMIDT machine worked I would definitely be interested.

The R&R stump grinder head takes all the flow the engine can give. Only a small amount is needed to sweep the stump as it is the crowding of the bucket head that does this. I can understand that some people need a dedicated stump grinder that fine, however I also needed a yard loader, flail mowing, post hole drilling, lifting 1ton to six feet ect... No stump grinder no matter how good can do any of these. Its not quite as good as a vemeer 352 but there nearly the same price. On the rare occasion that I need a large grinder I will hire one. (probably once or twice a year)
