I was looking at one the other week with the after burn on it, where it super heats the smoke and re burns it.

 

Not a bit of smoke, and the inside of the stoke had NO soot in it

i think your talking about the gasification boiler its realy pricey.

Not real sure, i have a mate who owns a large stove shop and it was running. The smoke is pushed through a manifold with a series of holes in it directed over the fire and then ignites. Almost mystical watching the flame effect from it.

a kunzel gasification boiler is 13.400euros plus you get a grant of 2.000euro.there is not alot of this type of boilers in ireland lots of them in germany.i have friends in germany that have 4 shops set up with all stoves working something else.nothing like that here.will send more pictures of the work we do when i get a chance.we also do all plumming.

Gasification boilers are widely used in eastern Europe. They are very efficient but the logs need to be down to around 20% moisture. You also need a heat accumulator tank (buffer) in the system. The Czech Atmos boilers are very good and a lot cheaper than the German or Austrian makes.
