Vigas boiler problems

Hi 

anyone running a vigas boiler ?

I am having problems with the fan and display 

 

the fan runs and having taken cover off it seems to be running freely with no wobble or seizing but doesn’t run as fast as it should 

sound it makes is different 

I touched the hub ? Of the fan with my finger and very light pressure slowed it right down

And briefly a little more pressured stopped it

 

my display is almost impossible to read but instructions say it can show faults

 

any ideas appreciated
