Stihl / 3M XClimb Helmet visor

I have the Stihl  3M XClimb Helmet and am struggling with the  (Standard) 3M mesh carrier as it has a wide black bar across the top of the mesh into the carrier and creates a heavy black barrier at eye level.

My question is:

1) Are there any other carriers that fit the standard Stihl / 3m ear defenders to alleviate the issue?

2) Does the Sordin visor carrier and mesh fit the standard ear defenders using the bar connection instead of the two button method that 3M uses on their carrier?

 

I also would like to adjust the head cage inside the helmet so that it sits further up and back on my head. Is it possible to do this?

 

The manuals are rubbish!
