@Crocky mod to my Dolmar 7310 has a pleasing 'put' much better performance ,  without being anti socially loud.

Money much better spent on a professional port.

Thanks. That’s got to be the strangest muffler internals I’ve ever seen. They really restrict it from factory. Once it was opened up inside it didn’t need too much more outlet. I like a grunt from a saw that doesn’t make your ears bleed.

the middle part is dolmars SLR (scavenging losses rejection) system. It reduces emissions and restricts the saw.  Had to go.

I think bark boxes have their place but they don’t do a great deal unless you do more inside the saw. They do give faster spool up but in the cut it won’t make a huge difference. Where the difference is made is when they’re used along side work done inside the cylinder. The bigger outlet that they have allows the saw to process more fuel.
